Ed Strauman Concert Jazz Quintet. Reviewer Karl Stark in the August 15
Philadelphia Inquirer especially noted "'In Loco Parentis,' with its flowing chords..." Strauman led the enrichment session "Listening to the Movies" on the opening day of
Reunion of the Stars 2010.

For those making early travel plans: festivities begin at 3 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Griffins Mass & Brunch, welcoming the year's 50th reunion class, occurs on Sunday morning of Reunion Weekend and ends by 2 p.m.
A save-the-date postcard for next June's Reunion Weekend will be mailed to classes ending in 1 and 6 in late September.

Thank you to our more than 260 alums who returned to Chestnut Hill College for our 63rd Annual Reunion, the
Reunion of the Stars 2010. We loved welcoming you home, and we hope you enjoyed your time on campus.
On March 31, the alumni relations office introduced "ReunionNews," an e-newsletter for reunion-year alums with registered e-mail addresses. Click for
links to the five pre-reunion and two post-reunion issues, which coordinated with the
three print mailings received by SUS classes ending in 0 and 5 since September.
Reunion 2010 classes received their seventh and final issue on 08/05, linking to the Reunion Wrap-Up before posting as a "NEWS" item on 08/09; Reunion 2011 classes received their first issue on 08/06 with the same links.
Eileen M. Crimmins, Ph.D. '68 Named 2010 Distinguished Achievement Awardee The Chestnut Hill College Alumni Association named
Eileen M. Crimmins, Ph.D. '68 its Distinguished Achievement Award winner for 2010. Professor Crimmins, AARP Chair in Gerontology at the University of Southern California, is an internationally recognized expert on aging, whose research focuses on the connections between socioeconomic factors and life expectancy and other health outcomes. Professor Crimmins is the third member of the Class of 1968 to earn the Alumni Association's award for professional accomplishment, joining Joan K. Lunney, Ph.D. named in 2007 and Nancy Loving in 2008.
